We recently auctioned an original painting by JJ Adams, ‘The Pink Stamp’. In doing so we raised £2,200.00 for the local Liverpool children’s charity K.I.N.D. (Kids In Need & Distress). KIND does a great deal in supporting children in Liverpool.
In this picture we see Darren Buckley, the manager of Rennies Gallery, handing over the cheque to a very pleased Steve Yip from KIND.
Steve Yip sent us the following letter of thanks;

On behalf of all at KIND I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful and generous donation of £2,200 raised from your recent auction of the JJ Adams ‘Pink Stamp’ Artwork. Thank you, not only for the donation but for thinking of us in the first place.

I hope that everyone at Rennies will be pleased to know that we will be using your kind support to help fund our Summer Out of School programme. Up to 38 children every week will enjoy new, exciting, fun and educational activities all designed to show them that they and life do have more to offer. The programme also includes two weeks of our Residential in mid-Wales where up to 50 children will enjoy a week of outdoor activities in some amazing countryside. Our Summer Out of School programme is not only great for our children but also gives hard pressed parents and carers much needed respite.

On behalf of all at KIND and especially all the children and families who will benefit from your support may I again thank you for your kindness, support and generosity.

With all best wishes,

Stephen Yip
Chief Executive
