Lawrence Coulson covers a debut album

The cover artwork for Ether's Edge debut album, 'Return To Type' has been created by Washington Green artist Lawrence Coulson. Entitled 'Fallen Angel', Lawrence painted the cover for his songwriter and musician friend Bazza Preece, who wrote and produced the album.

Very different to his usual style, Lawrence came up with a concept to reflect the music, which he said, gave him a great opportunity for a new challenge and to go in a slightly different direction.

'Fallen Angel' also has interesting links to his past, as Lawrence's artist father, Gerald Coulson, painted the cover for Mike Oldfiel's classic 'Five Miles Out' album released in 1982.
