Artist Kim Donaldson - All art work available, originals and signed limited edition prints. Kim Donaldson is often described as 'an artists' artist'. His masterly wildlife portraits have gained him a formidable international reputation throughout Europe and America, and his work is sold in the world's most prestigious auction houses including Sotheby's, Christie's, Bonhams & Philips.
Having spent his early life on a 150,000 acre ranch in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia), Kim was perfectly placed to develop and nurture his interest in the wildlife that surrounded him. Kim's use of palette and texture create the impression that his works were painted using the very red soil of Africa, and offers a window into the real Africa, a place so close to Kim's heart.
More than 50 exhibitions in 20 years have ensured Kim's work has been seen the world over, and his message and passion for Africa - the continent itself and the people and animals within it - has remained irrepressible. His story captivated thousands in his book "Africa, An Artist's Journal" which took him over four and a half years to complete which won V&A book award for design.
