Photograher Andy Surridge - All art work available by photographer Andy Surridge. Andrew Surridge lives and works as a photographer and cabinet maker on the Isle of Arran, a place he has called home since 1989.
Inspired at the age of 16 by a camera given to him by his Grandfather, photography has become a passion inspired by the Scottish landscape surrounding him. Whether it’s scrambling along a gorge to get the perfect waterfall shot, shooting a wedding ‘reportage’ style to capture those intimate moments or a dramatic fine art portrait with a backdrop of a castle and a looming sky he immerses himself in the job in hand with no compromise.
Always looking for new challenges, in 2009 in a collaboration with Arran poet Freya Gaea he produced a suite of images with words, ‘Four Sea Poems’, which will be displayed in SEPA’s new headquarters ‘Inverdee House’ in Aberdeen.
